Event hosts and vendors may ship packages to campus in advance of their event at the Student Center or Exhibition Hall, provided all guidelines outlined below are followed. These guidelines help ensure packages are received, tracked, and delivered to the event venue safely and on time.
 

Package Requirements 

  • All packages must weigh less than 70 lbs.
  • Freight shipments and pallets are not accepted.
  • Amazon deliveries are not recommended; these packages cannot be reliably tracked or verified by Georgia Tech Postal Services.

Shipping Information

All packages must be shipped to the address below. Use of the 4-digit mail code (0450) is required for accurate delivery.

Client must provide the shipping confirmation details to the event coordinator. Packages may be received Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
 

Delivery to Event

  • Client must provide the date and time for when packages should be delivered to the Student Center or Exhibition Hall for their event. 
  • Delivery times must fall within Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • The client (or designated representative) must be present at the time of delivery. Student and Campus Event Centers staff will not accept, move, or handle packages on behalf of the client. 

Fees

  • The cost of receiving packages and delivery service to the event venue is $500, which will be included on the event invoice. 
  • If additional or specialized labor is required, an additional labor charge of $30 per hour, per person will apply. 
  • All fees associated with the service will be communicated in advance. 

Post-Event Shipping

  • Following the event, vendors or event hosts are responsible for transporting packages to the Student Center Post Office, located on Level 1 of the Student Center, for return shipping via USPS. 
  • Shipping costs are determined by package weight and size and are not included in the receiving and delivery fees. 
  • Returned packages must also comply with the 70 lbs. maximum weight limit.
